Practice and Game Ice

Parents and Coaches: Please note that game and practice schedules are not created by Millwoods Hockey. Hockey Edmonton creates all schedules for the over 500 minor hockey teams in Edmonton and local surrounding areas.

EFHL/HE ice cannot be sold, only traded or given away. EFHL ice is given out as a full sheet of ice (whether it is listed as half or full). Ice that a Millwoods Hockey team cannot use must be traded or given out. If a team cannot make a full or shared practice because of a conflict that is not due to Hockey Edmonton; it will not be replaced. The shared ice can become a full ice practice for the team sharing if other team does not trade for it's portion of the half ice.

 

When booking ice with Hockey Edmonton or any City of Edmonton ice – the instructions below MUST BE USED to ensure you get the MINOR HOCKEY RATE of $188/hour (approx. $125 savings off the adult rate).

Hockey Edmonton Ice Bookings

To book Hockey Edmonton ice:

You must use the Ice Allocator email (iceallocator@millwoodshockey.ca) when booking your ice. I will get the request for the booking and once confirmation is received, I will notify you and send you an invoice. THIS ICE IS NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE BOOKED.

City of Edmonton Ice Bookings

To book City of Edmonton ice:

  • Find the booking on City of Edmonton arena booking availability page CITY ICE BOOKINGS AVAILIBILITY
  • Send an email to iceallocator@millwoodshockey.ca with the ice slots you would like to book.
  • Please provide the following information:
    • Team Number (MWXXX)
    • Date
    • Start and finish times (include AM or PM or use 24 hour clock)
    • Arena (include A or B if there is more than one ice surface)

The ice request will be submitted for booking and once confirmed, you will get an email confirmation from me and your team will be invoiced on a bimonthly basis.

Please make sure you have the correct dates, arena and times – once these bookings are requested they CANNOT be returned.
