Primary Contact Email
The email address listed as the player's email will serve as the main point of contact for your family. All official communication will be sent to this email address, so please ensure it is checked regularly.
Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) ID
Millwoods Hockey manages player registrations through the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR 3.0 Spordle) portal.
- New Players: Follow the New Player Registration guidelines below to complete the process.
- Returning Players: Check your inbox for registration instructions and follow the Returning Player guidelines.
Respect in Sport Requirement
All new hockey parents must complete the "Respect In Sport – Parent Edition (RIS)" online course before registering.
- Course Fee: $12.00
- Association: Select Millwoods Hockey during registration.
- Expiration: Certification is valid for four years.

New Players:
All new players must create an account in the HCR 3.0 Spordle portal to complete registration.
Required Documentation
To confirm age and residency, upload the following to the player's HCR 3.0 Spordle account under Documents:
- Alberta Health Care Card
- Birth Certificate or Passport
- Proof of Residency (Current Utility Bill – Name/Address portion only)
The Registrar will request this information via email, or you may email it in advance to seeraadmin@shaw.ca.
Respect in Sport Requirement
All parents of new hockey players must complete the Hockey Alberta Online "Respect In Sport – Parent Edition (RIS Parent)" course before registering.
- Completion Deadline: Within 7 days of registration
- Association Selection: Choose "Millwoods Hockey"
- Fee: $12.00 (Millwoods Hockey does not provide pre-registration codes; parents must cover the cost.)
Volunteer Deposit
All families must submit a Volunteer Deposit cheque, which remains on file for the duration of the player's time with Millwoods Hockey.
- The cheque will only be cashed if parents do not fulfill volunteer requirements.
- Parents may choose to opt out and pay the Opt-Out fee at checkout.

Transferring Players:
For players transferring from another association
- Complete the Hockey Alberta Parent Declaration Form
- The form requires three proofs of residency to be attached.
- Please use seeraadmin@shaw.ca in the "Minor Hockey Association Submission" field
Please contact the Registrar to confirm you reside within the Southeast Zone catchment.
Returning players:
For players returning to Millwoods Hockey for the upcoming season:
- Parents - check your inbox for an email with instructions to register online.
- All families are required to have a valid (not expired) Respect in Sport Parent course on file.

Payment Options:
We offer multiple payment methods to ensure flexibility for families:
- EFT / E-Transfer: Please contact the registrar for instructions.
- Credit Card: Accepted methods include Visa, Mastercard, and Visa Debit.
- User fee will be added at time of payment.
- Payment Plan: A payment plan option will be available during checkout in online registration.
- Vouchers earned through Community League activities or Millwoods/SEERA Hockey volunteer events (bingo, casinos, or 50/50) can be used toward player registration fees.
- Voucher Submission Instructions:

- Mail vouchers in advance to Kerri Bishop via Canada Post before beginning the registration process.
- Mailing Address: 2256 Warry Loop SW, Edmonton, AB T6W 0N7.
- Include the player’s name, your name, and your email with the vouchers.
- Once received, confirmation will be emailed, and the remaining balance will be visible during online checkout.
- No change will be provided for vouchers exceeding the total fees.

Fees & Payment Policies
To ensure smooth processing of payments, please note the following policies:
- NSF Charge: A $35 fee will be applied to all returned cheques.
- Refund Administration Fee: Approved refunds will incur a $75 administration fee.
- Late Payment Fee: If you select a payment plan and miss a due date, a $50 late fee will be assessed for each missed payment.
To avoid penalties, please make arrangements with the Registrar before the payment deadline.
