Annual Welcome BBQ
Introducing the inaugural Millwoods Hockey Welcome BBQ!
Millwoods Hockey is excited to bring families together to kick off the season with our first Welcome BBQ. Enjoy food, fun activities and an opportunity to get to know other players and families outside the rink.
Details:
Date: September 27, 2025
Location: Ridgewood Community Hall
Times: To ensure there is ample space for everyone to enjoy the event, it has been split into 2 groups:
- U7 - U9: 11am - 1pm
- U11 - U13: 1pm - 3pm
Pre-Registration:
- Pre-registration is required so we know how many people to expect and ensure there is sufficient food and supplies for everyone.
- Please register based on the category of your player. Use the buttons below and select the correct option for your player’s category.
- Registration deadline is September 25, 2025.
Who can attend: Immediate family only — parents, siblings, and your registered player.
Check-in: Upon arrival, please check in at the registration table to receive your voucher for event activities and food.
Food: Each registered player and family member will receive one free hot dog, chips, pop, and a treat.
- Additional food items will be available for an extra cost of $3 per player/family member.
Activities: Come on out and enjoy these activities:
- Bouncy house
- Obstacle Course
- Face painting and tattoo's
- Characterist
- Lawn games
- Soccer
- Mini-sticks
Don't forget to bring your lawn chair so you can sit back and enjoy yourself while the kids play!
Volunteer opportunity:
These kind of events do not happen without the help of our amazing volunteers. If you have some free time, we would love your help — all the tasks are very easy. Our volunteer policy was updated this year, requiring one association volunteer credit per player. Helping out at this event could count toward your volunteer credit!
