Refer-a-Player Program

We’re excited to offer a Refer-a-Player Program designed to grow the game, strengthen our community, and reward our members for helping expand Millwoods Hockey.

How It Works

Current players and families can refer new players to Millwoods Hockey. When a referred player registers and completes the evaluation process, the referring member receives program benefits.

Program Incentives

For the Referring Member

• Receive a program credit of $50 for each successful referral
• Credits can be applied toward future registration fees, team fees- seed money/cash calls, or development programs

Program/Eligibility Requirements

A referral is considered valid when:

• The player is new to Millwoods Hockey (has not previously been registered with the association)
• The new player lists the referring member during registration
• The player completes registration and payment requirements
• The player participates in evaluations/team placement
• Referrals must be submitted at the time of registration (no retroactive claims)
• Credits are non-transferable and hold no cash value
• The organization reserves the right to review and validate all referrals

Credit Distribution

To ensure fairness and program integrity:

• All referral credits are issued after evaluations are complete and teams have been finalized
• The referred player must remain registered within the program for the season.

Important Note

• Only the referring member receives the program credit
• Referred players do not receive a registration discount
