U13 Tier 1 ID Camp

Millwoods Hockey is proud to offer our U13 Summer  Development Camp  an intensive offseason program built for athletes who are committed to elevating their game. Led by the 2025–26 U13 coaching staff, this camp provides a competitive training environment focused on advanced skill development, tactical growth, and early team culture building.

This camp is designed for players born in 2014-2015 who intend to pursue a position on the 2026–27 U13 Tier 1 team.

Program Overview

Skill Development

• Advanced edge work and skating efficiency
• High‑speed puck control and agility
• Shooting mechanics, release quickness, and accuracy

Tactical Instruction

• Applying skills in game‑realistic scenarios
• Decision‑making under pressure
• Position‑specific responsibilities
• Systems and concepts used in competitive play

Team & Culture Building

• Training alongside potential teammates
• Establishing communication and on‑ice chemistry
• Reinforcing habits and expectations aligned with Millwoods’ competitive standards

Why Attend?

This camp provides more than technical training — it sets the foundation for the upcoming season and introduces athletes to the expectations of U13 Tier 1 hockey. Participants will:

• Work directly with the coaching staff for the 2025–26 season
• Build confidence through structured, high‑tempo sessions
• Develop strong habits that translate into competitive performance
• Form early connections with peers ahead of evaluations and team formation

Eligibility Requirements

Participants must meet the following criteria:

• Registered with Millwoods Hockey for the 2025–26 season
• Registered with Millwoods Hockey for Winter 2026–27 prior to camp start
• New to Millwoods Hockey: contact Kerri for approval
• Demonstrated interest in trying out for the 2026–27 U13 Tier 1 team
• Not open to players trying out for Club Hockey.

Camp Fees

• Players: $150.00
• Goalies: $75.00
