Tier 1 Evaluations

Tier 1 Third-Party Evaluations - 2026-2027 

 

Millwoods Hockey is committed to providing a fair, transparent, and development-focused evaluation process. For the upcoming season, U9 Tier 1, U11 Tier 1, and U13 Tier 1 teams will participate in separate third-party evaluations prior to the start of regular tier evaluations.

Eligibility

• All players are eligible to register for the Tier 1 third - party evaluations , regardless of where they played for the 2025-2026 season.
• This ensures every athlete has the opportunity to be considered for Tier 1 promoting a fair and open evaluation process.

Evaluation Format

• Players registered for Tier 1 will be guaranteed to receive two (2) on-ice evaluation sessions conducted by an independent third-party evaluation company.

• Following the completion of the second skate, selected players will advance within the Tier 1 evaluation stream.

• All players not selected for Tier 1 after the second skate will be released back into the standard evaluation process and will continue evaluations alongside other players within their respective age division and tiers.

This process will continue until the tier one team has been formed.

This structure ensures every player has a fair opportunity to be assessed while maintaining integrity and independence in the Tier 1 selection process.

 

Evaluation Fee

The cost to participate in the Tier 1 third-party evaluations is:

• $150.00 per player
• This fee is non-refundable.
• The fee covers the cost of the independent evaluation services and associated ice times.

Third-Party Evaluation Provider

Millwoods Hockey will be utilizing a professional third-party evaluation company to conduct these assessments. Details regarding the selected company will be released at a later date.
