August Shinny Ice
What is Shinny Hockey?
Shinny hockey is a casual and informal game of hockey that can be played by players of various ages and skill level. To ensure the safety of all participants, players are required to be in full equipment for shinny, same as a regular season game.
Important Shinny Registration Information
Details:
- Cost is $15.00 per slot.
- How many shinny slots you can sign up for will vary per category.
- A waitlist will be available should all slots fill up.
- Registration for each of the categories will be staggered. Please note the opening date for registration for your category.
E-Transfer Payment Info:
- Email payment to: payments@millwoodshockey.ca
- Security Question:
- Please use "U? shinny" - where U? represents the category you are registered in. For example "U9 shinny".
- Password:
- Please use "hockey2025".
- Memo/Comment section of the E-Transfer:
- Please add the player's first name and last name.
Refunds:
- Refunds will only be available if you cancel at least 72 hours prior to the start of your first scheduled ice time.

U9 Shinny Information (2017-2018)
- Tiers listed for each skate represents where the player played in the 2024-25 hockey season. Please register for the appropriate slot for your player.
- U7 players moving to U9 will register in the Tier 4-6 dates.
- U9 players can select up to 3 ice times when registering for shinny.
- Players must be registered for the Winter 2025-26 hockey season to register for shinny.
