The Atom Raiders are in Hinton for their first tournament of the season
The Atom Raiders are in Hinton this weekend playing in their first tournament. Game one was against Pembina and the Raiders came out and played their best hockey of the season. The player of the game was goalie Brandon Labelle.
In game two, the Raiders faced the Edmonton Girls. The boys played another outstanding game and in an effort to help even things out, the coaches moved six forwards to defense and the defense went to forward. The result was a very one sided victory and the player of the game was Zach Saif.
Tomorrow the Raiders face Spruce Grove and the home team from Hinton as well as the tournament final.
