Tigers Claw Their Way Back

In the second half of the home and home series vs Spruce Grove, the Tigers clawed their way back to respectability in a 6-3 loss.  Tyson Rook scored on a quick shot from the right side with an assist going to Dean Kopecky.  The second period was a little rough as the Tigers gave us five goals, but they roared back in the third period, outscoring Spruce Grove 2-0.  Ewan Manning scored his first goal ever in the third period and went home with the game puck as a souvineer.  Assists went to Nathaniel Hansen and Gavin Weisser.  And then late in the game Kyle Jiminez finished the scoring on an unassisted rush into the Spruce Grove end. 

Coach Lee said, "We are starting to get our positions ironed out, and we have introduced a little bit of systems play.  The players on this team learn everything so fast, I am confident that we will start winning a few very soon."
