The Tigers played an after school special on Wednesday night against the St. Thomas Dragons. It was a fierce battle, but the Tigers were not able to prevail. The final score was Dragons 5, Tigers 0.
Burke Bannert emerged as an offensive threat in this one, recording two shots on goal. Ewan Manning added the only other shot for the Tigers. Mariah Bernal had a strong outing, as did Dean Kopecky. Nathaniel Hansen was an absolute BEAST on the back end and earned the player of the game puck.
Coach Lee said, "I didn't think we really found our legs in this one, but we did play well. We have shown improvment through the exhibition round, and that is what counts."
The Tigers play their next game Sunday at Terwillager arena.
