Minor Hockey Week

MINOR HOCKEY WEEK   JANUARY 14 – 23, 2011

 

Dear Coaches and Managers:

 

With the hockey season just under way it is time to start planning for Minor Hockey Week.

As in past years it is MANDATORY for each team to provide 6 volunteers to be available for the assigned games.

The volunteers needed are as follows:

 (2) Button sellers -Selling of minor hockey week buttons and tickets at the door.  This volunteer must arrive 1 hour prior to assigned slot.

 (2) Checkers - This person will watch the game from the stands and verify that all players dressed will receive 2 shifts per period. 

 (1) Score Keeper -You will work with the timekeeper and record the necessary penalties and goals.

 (1) Time Keeper - this person will run the time clock during the games required

 

Any team that misses their assigned times or do not submit a list of volunteers will be levied a $500.00 fine and/or all Travel permits will be revoked.

Please forward an email with your list of volunteers complete information to include position, phone numbers and email addresses along with confirming contact information for the Head Coach and Team Manager on or before November 28, 2010 to the attention of Patti Brown Minor Hockey Week Director at pattilenb@shaw.ca . Please make the subject title of your email SE ??? MHW Volunteers.

 

A follow up email will be sent out to all volunteers once the schedule has been received. This will happen approximately one week prior to beginning of MHW.
