Hockey Development

Millwoods Hockey has worked hard this summer to ensure the skaters, goaltenders and coaches are given every opportunity to improve their skills and increase their FUN for the upcoming 2010/2011 season.

New Power Skating Programs have been developed plus Millwoods Hockey has begun a new partnership with the GOLD in the NET who trains more goaltenders World Wide than anyone! GITN is bringing more instructors to the ice to ensure our goaltenders are getting the most up to date training methods and concepts being used today.

Millwoods Hockey will be providing all Hockey Canada Coach Requirements in-house with certified trainers for Body Contact, NCCP Coach, Safety and for our newest coaches, Intro to Coach programs to ensure everyone new to our association gets off on the right foot... or skate.

A dedicated web page just for coaches will help with spreading the communication of drills, practice plans, concepts, skill development.
